Recognizing an Opiod Overdose

  • Person is unresponsive or can't be woken up

  • Slow or no breathing (or gurgling sounds)

  • Blue or gray lips and fingernails

  • Small, pinpoint pupils

What To Do in an Overdose

  • Call 911 immediately

  • Administer Narcan (naloxone)

  • Lay the person on their side (recovery position)

  • Stay with them until help arrives

  • If no response after 2-3 minutes, give a second Narcan dose.

Fentanyl Test Strips - Test strips detect the presence of fentanyl in substances, helping to prevent accidental overdoses.
